Diane’s Talking
As President and founder of Diane’s Talking, I work with a variety of clients as reporter, anchor, producer, correspondent, media coach, voice over talent and more. I put my 20 plus years of broadcast experience to work helping clients achieve their varied and ultimate goals.

2011-present Sports Update Anchor, SiriusXM, Washington DC
Responsible for researching, writing, recording and uploading hourly two minute updates on one or two channels per hour. Experienced in Dalet, digital media system.

2008-present Freelance Correspondent/Producer, AARP-Broadcast, Washington DC
Responsible for producing and reporting stories for the show “My Generation” Upcoming pieces include ‘Calling the Shots’ about a female umpire and ‘The Iron Man Gives Back’ about Cal Ripken and one of his youth programs.

2004-present Correspondent/Producer National Terrorism Preparedness Institute, St. Petersburg, FL
This training partner for the US Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Grants and Training, airs monthly satellite television broadcasts for emergency responders. I am responsible for taking key statistics from training courses and making them as interesting as they are relevant to the responders on whom we rely in a crisis.

2006-2009 TV Instructor, Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Arlington, VA/Columbia, MD Campuses
Taught writing and on-air courses in news and sports. Also taught in depth sports workshop. Several of my students are working sports broadcasters.

2000-2008 Sports Reporter/Anchor, WTTG-TV, Washington DC
Responsible for pitching, producing, reporting and anchoring all aspects of local and national sports... Several of the stories I pitched were nominated for and/or won Emmy and AP awards. I was also the intern coordinator for the sports office.

Summer 2008, 2009 High School Broadcast Instructor, Kellie Williams Programs, Washington DC
Responsible for teaching inner city youth the how to’s of broadcast television; from pitching, researching and setting up stories to writing, reporting and anchoring.

I have been involved in voice over work for 20 plus years, most recently for the US Army Surgeon General, Front Porch Media Group in Washington DC and Urban Policy Development in Baltimore, MD.
My voice can be heard on commercials, documentaries and training videos in regions across the country.

I have been an actress in several live and video taped programs including, but not limited to Stages Productions Children’s Theatre in St. Petersburg, FL and the Welcome to DC Video for Soapbox Consultants in Washington DC
